History
Here is a historical overview of the origin of the Work of the Lord Jesus Christ in this place:
1990: The Lord opens the doors of a radio program to preach the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, through missionary brother Henry Pereira. The invitation that was for one day remained for six months.
August, 1990: Sister Nelly de Almanzor* is contacted through the aforementioned radio program.
September, 1990: First contact with the home of Sister Albertina Motta*, where the first preaching of the Gospel took place.
February 17, 1991: The beginning of Sunday School takes place in said home, located at Camino Mendoza 3940 in the city of Montevideo.
July, 1991: Other baptized brothers who left some denominations begin to congregate regularly, presenting the need for more space.
1995: Sister Irma Villareal* offers her house to the Lord where we congregated for seven years, although the Sunday School continued to operate at Camino Mendoza 3940.
April, 1999: The Lord provides the means for the acquisition of land at 4331 Brussels Street.
April 6, 2002: Meetings begin at 4331 Brussels Street.
December, 2006: Constitution of the Evangelical Christian Church in Brussels 4331.
